Erosion control isn’t a one-size-fits-all problem. Shoreline exposure, wave energy, soil composition, and adjacent infrastructure all affect which revetment approach will actually hold up over time. Coastal Marine Construction designs revetment systems specific to each site’s conditions, rather than applying a standard treatment regardless of exposure. Because we self-perform the full scope, including any pile driving, sheet piling, or concrete work tied to the revetment system, the project stays under one crew from design through installation.

Our process starts with a site assessment to understand wave action, tidal range, and the condition of the existing shoreline or seawall. From there, we work with project engineers to finalize a design that balances protection with any environmental or permitting requirements, including tools like silt curtains where sedimentation control matters. Installation follows, with our crew placing and securing materials to the engineered specification, then confirming the finished system performs as designed before demobilizing.
